is a Pediatrician and the deputy head of the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Div. of Pediatric Pulmonology, Allergology and Endocrinology, Medical University of Vienna. She has done profound research work on different genetic diseases in childhood. Since 10/2011 she is head of the outpatient clinic for adipositas and fatty acid disorders. Children and adolescents with morbid obesity and adipositas with comorbidities are examined clinically and interdisciplinary, therapeutical interventions are assisted like offering bariatric surgery in cooperation with the Department of general surgery, Medical University of Vienna.
