Brelomate presented at the IARA conference in Villach
Johannes Pflegerl and Sabine Sommer were invited to present Brelomate at the international conference of the Institute for Applied Research on Ageing (IARA) at the Carinthia University of Applied Sciences. Their presentation was focused on preliminary findings of the field study which was conducted from February until June 2017 in 30 elderly households in Lower Austria. The field study proofed that the second screen application Brelomate meets with a high level of acceptance among senior citizens and has the potential to counteract loneliness. The participatory follow-up project called UmBrello will start this fall and will give us the opportunity to further develop tools for the gaming and communication platform.
